| Notes | B/W. Set in Edinburgh, 1831. A reclusive doctor who is into grave robbing for his anatomical studies takes on an assistant. Besides their digging activities they try to 'cure' a young girl who is paralysed. By the end of the film the girl is beginning to walk. Thoughtful film from short story by R.L. Stevenson which suggests that doctors were forced to rob graves in order to pursue their studies and help people.
