NotesB/W., Silent Two carnival show workers, Robin and Salome have an off and on romance which is threatened by 'The Greek'. Salome lives with a blind old man to whom she reads letters pretending they're from his son who in reality has been sentenced to death. Later the old man mistakes Robin for his son. Also includes a display of 'freaks'. Browning later made the film "Freaks", see above.
