| Notes | Ford, a busy, successful lawyer is brain-injured by a stray bullet. Initially he's shown as a ruthless, selfish, arrogant, duplicitous person. The film is about his recovery during which he becomes a better, more caring person. He's a better father, a more ethical lawyer, he doesn't think his daughter should go away to boarding school and he even notices the stars. So is this a call for all lawyers to get a bullet in the head? Not enough strength to sustain the length. Good detail on hospital procedures. This film probably wouldn't have been made with a star like Ford. But paradoxically the role is difficult for an actor and Ford just isn't up to it. Dr.Ben Green calls Ford's conditions "amnestic syndrome".
