Title | Crack in the World (1965) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Cancer | Country | UK | Length | 96 | Genre | Science Fiction | Rating | ? | Director | Andrew Marton
| Cast | Dana Andrews Janette Scott Alexandra Knox Kieron Moore
| Notes | Not quite in the vein of the 'mad scientist', here we have a scientist who makes a mistake. The consequences will possibly bring the world to an end. The end starts with a small crack which becomes bigger. The first attempt using an atom bomb to stop the crack 'taking over the world' results in a piece of the earth flying off and forming a second moon. But the crack still has expansionist ideas so the scientist who is dying from cancer sacrifices himself to save the world.
