NotesSteve Carroll writes: "This is a truly awful movie about a hard-driving ad man (Keanu Reeves) who is "befriended" by a woman (Charlize Theron) who takes into her apartment one man per month to "reform" them into more caring and slower-paced individuals. No love, no sex, just a reformation. But with November's man (Reeves), something goes wrong: they fall in love. Later it is found out Theron has terminal cancer. This film features some pretty awful acting, especially by Reeves, and even Theron's honest perfomance cannot save it. The only saving grace here is Enya's "Only Time" on the soundtrack! This was a remake of a film by the same title in 1968…I am not sure if the woman was ill in that one as well."
