| Cast | Jack Lemmon Barbara Harris Jason Robards, Jr.
| Notes | Apparently this film is very loosely based on the life of James Thurber, the cartoonist and comic writer and a television series called "My World and Welcome to It". Despite having an antipathy to dogs, children and women Peter Wilson (Lemmon) meets a divorced woman (Harris) with three kids and a dog. They fall in love and get married but the kids and the dog are not overwhelmed by these ceremonial rites. And worse he's slowly losing his sight. In fact it gets so bad he suggests she return to her first husband only to discover he has died. Thus Peter must make a go of this family thing.
