NotesB/W, Silent Filmed version of vaudeville sketch. A 'blind' man sitting in a theatre is led onto the stage by a boy. The man puts down his hat and cane and kneels on the stage. The boy brings out a card saying "Pity the blind". First a man comes by and drops a coin in the hat. He is followed by two finely dressed women who also drops coins into the hat. But one of the women as she leaves pauses and raises her skirt to adjust her stockings. The 'blind' man lowers his dark glasses and gapes at her legs. Both women carry on without realising the deception.
