NotesMary Reese writes: Longstreet was a pilot for the series which ran on television 1971-1972. Michael Longstreet, a New Orleans insurance investigator, is blinded in a bombing that kills his wife Ingrid. He, with great frustration, rebuilds his life with the help of his mother, his friend Duke who works with him as an insurance investigator, and his braille teacher Nikki. Eventually he is able to resume his job in investigation and seek the assailants who tried to kill him. The series which sprang from this movie was called "one of the better detective series" of the 70's and ran in the top 30 shows for many of its episodes. The series also included Bruce Lee in many of the segments which may interest Bruce Lee fans.
