NotesThe film is about a guy who while house-sitting for a male gigolo is mistaken for one himself. Fernando Arenas writes: Rob Schneider stars it as the main character, Deuce Bigalow, a hapless fellow who barely makes a living cleaning fish tanks in Miami, Florida, until he finds himself embroiled in a conflict with a wealthy and ferocious gigolo, Antoine, who left his expensive apartment in care of Deuce while he traveled to Europe on business. Poor Deuce damaged the place and has to raise US$6,000 before Antoine's return or face his wrath. So Deuce turns to "man-whoring" with the help of a "male-madam." His clients turn out to be an assortment of out-or-the-ordinary women, including a gigantic Norwegian lady, and a woman with Tourette-syndrome. But Deuce falls in love with one of his clients, sweet and beautiful Kate (Arija Bareikis), who is a RAK amputee and who, predictably, gets furious and abandons him as soon as she discovers that he was paid to go out with her. There is also a sub-plot involving a policeman who chases Deuce and shows him his "willie" at every turn. All in all, the movie has a few tender moments and some good laughs but it is light fare in the extreme and it will surely offend some people with its repeated jokes about a wide array of physically disabled or just different people. But in the end it is more childish than mean spirited and the scenes with Miss Bareikis are almost enough to save it from oblivion.
